L'azienda

The farm Poggio della Scheggiolla is entirely located in Castelnuovo Berardenga town and its business centre is close to the hills, 350 Mt above sea level.
It is a small farm representing a sort of little pit with its one and an half hectares grapes, its beautiful olive-trees and its terracings, watching along the marvellous Siena scene.
The main wine types are Stravizzo and Chianti Classico, the precious result for having dedicated a long and lovely work to the earth. All activities are based on biological methods, because we believe in it and because we live there; you can touch it by yourself looking at the repopulation of minor animal species. Your are welcome to live with us this experience, tasting the fruits of our work (we apologize if we don’t use the expression products...).
It has 1,10 hectares of Olive-tree , producing more or less 600/800 bottles about half a liter of a very high quality oil: the Olio Extra Vergine.
